Approach
The GHS service approach strives to build a collaborative relationship with clients to create partners for life. While each search is unique, the executive search procedures outlined below gives prospective clients and candidates an overview of our proprietary process.
- Our approach to the search process begins once the client has formed an agreement and committed to the search project.
- Together with the client, GHS develops a positional narrative and job description. This process may include a client or site visit, to enable a deep understanding of business and operational objectives. Depending on the sensitivity of the project a meeting with the client’s management team may also take place.
- Candidates are then sourced through personal interaction, systematic research and database exploration. Candidates are sourced and approached individually with strict adherence to confidentially for all.
- GHS is not a database driven firm.
- Clients receive information only on candidates who have given full permission to GHS for representation and who have committed to considering the assignment.
- A short list and summary of candidates is presented to the client based on the search assignment brief. This stage of the process includes references, introductory notes and assessments.
- GHS assists clients in facilitating the interviewing process and can provide further referencing and endorsements as needed.
- Once a final candidate has been selected, GHS will assist with the final employment terms or any necessary contracts and offer letters.
- Our methodology encompasses a three-way partnership of respect and confidentiality between GHS, our client and the candidate. Working as a retained firm ensures a dedicated focus on finding the best candidate for the client.
- We do not approach current GHS placed candidates for new opportunities.
- Clients who have engaged our retained services also have exclusive rights that GHS works solely on their behalf.
- All searches are managed by the owner from start to finish.
- As part of the service offer, assignments are given optional consultative advice and input for optimal organizational results.
